Completed the Ridge Loop in the 6 AM mist. The rocks on the northern descent were slick, but the air felt entirely fresh. Footing held up beautifully.
Member Field Notes
Raw observations from completed excursions, preserved without social metrics or notification clutter.
Black-Water Basin was calm until the eastern bend. Paddled through glass-still sections where the canyon walls reflected perfectly. Took the group exit at marker seven.
Salt Flat Dawn Circuit at first light. Gravel was firm, wind minimal. Maintained steady cadence through the flat sections and eased off before the clay wash crossing.
